Anyone have experience with 1947-1955 Chevy 3100 fiberglass fenders? I want to get new rear fenders but don't want a never ending problem.

  2. A friend has a pair on his truck. They look just like the originals. Getting them positioned was the biggest problem.

Just get good quality because the cheaper ones will need a ton of block sanding.

    Just like original metal ones

Agreed. Nothing worse than trying to make CHEAP fiberglass look good.

I used steel repop rear fenders on mine they were not much more an took very little prep to get them ready for paint. I did grind off the rivet that holds fender to inner brace an welded it for a smoother look..
