    Hi

i saw a 1949 Lincoln 2 door Coupe for sale and maybe i will need a professional car inspection, because i am from switzerland.

It costs some Money to fly over just to check out the car, so i thought maybe is there a way to let the car inspected by a classics specialist. Saw some companys on the WWW which do that, but i am not sure which one....is really good and if i can trust them...

Are there some Special Points to take care?
    - known Points where it is normaly is rusty?
    - Engine or Transmission things to check?
    - etc.

    Any help is appreciated :)

    Thanks
    Marcel, from Switzerland

Try posting a request on St. Louis Craigslist.
I don't know anyone in that area, but I'll make some inquiries for you!

My Girls Dad has a 47- Don't know how much is different but areas he found include the hydraulic windows, the wiring harness is very expensive if you are keeping it stock, and there is a ton of pot metal
chrome! The overdrive on his is a little flakey also, though he seems to have gotten it figured out.
