Franklin's have a special place in my heart. As a youngster growing up in Cleveland, my neighbor was into old cars BIG TIME. I was always over his house hanging out and just being a young gearhead. In the mid 70's he dragged home a '27 Franklin 4 dr sedan with a V-8. I helped him clean all the rat's nest out of it and get it ready to send to Amish Dutchmen, to redo all the wood. He ran out of steam and money and sold it. (with the wood all done) Fast forward to the late 90's...my best friend's father in law drags home a Franklin project, that was partially restored. Yep, it was the same car. He painstakingly finished it. Looks killer right now. recently connected with his daughter on FB and trying to hook up my old neighbor Tom, to go to Al's house and see it done. 20 some years and it never left a 25 mile radius.

Thanks for sharing and try and move this out of the Customs dept. Subscribed.

It is a nice car but would not make a good hot rod with the Woden frame I think a big engine would twist it in half. That aside I love all the rods listed on here to thank you guys

I just saw your Franklin yesterday (11-7-15) at the "Show & Shine" at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA. What a terrific vehicle! Wow.
