New from Kalamazoo-Lookin for radiator shop?

Hello to all, first post on this site. I'm building an Oakland (made before Pontiac) with a 401 4 speed and 9'' rear. Almost on the road and in need of a radiator made for the car. I tried to have the original reworked but no luck. Anyone know of a good place in the lower Michigan area. Any leeds greatly appreciated. Superior Radiator in Mt. Clemens, north of Detroit is probably the best in the metro Detroit area.

 

Bit of a drive,100 mi, but there's a good custom radiator builder in Whitehall. Last I knew an aluminum radiator from him was around $400. You can take your old radiator or custom dimensions and he'll build from that. If your interested I'll PM you his phone #

 

There is a place in grand rapids called radiator hospital , they used to sponsor my race car , they are some good guys .I would give them a call they've helped me out a few times. If they can't pm me back i can find you another number.

Nope not as much going on the west side of the state. I think were going to have to start one of are own. Theres like 10 or so of us on the west side of the state.

 

Call the Radiator Hospital in Grang Rapids, they do great work at a fair price. Steve

Well I'm a bit late on this one, but welcome Steve! When you and I first talked 2 years ago I think I mentioned this place, glad you made it.

Hope things go well with the Oakland and look forward to some progress pics.
