Chevy 3100 missing Id number

Hello , i' m a new chewy 3100 owner , from Romania , i have bought the car a few weeks ago and i make a big mistake when i bought the car , i didnt check the vin number on the car , the owner bring the car here in Romania from Us ,Illionis state, it has all the papers , and the title expired in 2009. what can i do now to get a vin number? can i order a new plate with stamped vin number?
