1952-59 Ford Group Intro

Hey guy, i was a member of this social group a while back before the website was redone. I wasnt able to find it again until now haha.

Anywho, I am currently putting together a straight axle g***er styled 52. Hopefully should be running by the end of the year. I have a soft spot for these cars, id like to get myself a coupe sometime in the near future.

Looks like '53 front sheet metal with a '54 grille insert. BTW, welcome back.

 

Naw,it's a '52 grill.

Where did you get the front axle? HRP

 

Front qxle is just the speedway 4" drop. We will see how well it holds up.

Car will not have Ford power. I have a nice 4 bolt main big block chevy and built turbo400 going in it. 9" rear. Engine is recessed about 8-10". Currently figuring steering. A big block being recessed so far back makes steering kind of a pain.

 

After looking at it closer, I see the difference. Thx.
