1952-59 Ford Business coupes and sedans....when were they made?

EchoGecko's thread on his business coupe got me to wondering when they started making the business coupes or sedans, and when they stopped. Anybody know?

 

Just a SWAG here, but I'd say for all makes they began to appear in the late 20s and were out of production by the late 50s.

 

Should have clarified...I was wondering about our Fords in particular. I guess I never paid much attention to them til I found out '57s were such a hottie.

 

I have only seen references of mid-year 1928 to 1959. Don't know if I've ever seen a 59 though.

 

As far as the 52-59 Ford Social Group is concerned..'52 through '54.

I don't ever recall seeing any after that.HRP

 

Ford's last COUPE was '54. Any business model after that was a 2-dr sedan.

 

The '59 business sedan was body model 64G. I don't recall seeing one past 1959.

 

49-54 i believe.

 

Doing a google search I found Ford Business coupes as early as 1937
