I just received my headers from Gear Drive and want to give them props for the superb workmanship, quality and customer service. thanks Matt!

These headers fit so much better than the previous ones which leaked no matter what I did. I got the flash dip chrome which isn't perfect but was better than I expected. The welds are beautiful and the sound is deeper and crisper. Maybe the difference in sound is due to the new ones having baffles and the old ones having cut down gl*** packs. The headers blued a little but I'm probably running a little lean. It doesn't bother me, I built this car to drive the **** out of not show. Needless to say I'm stoked! I'm a satisfied customer myself. Matt's headers are THE best.

Nice Headers , and your car looks great!

  5. Nice looking car. The headers look "right" on it. My gear drive headers are great - one of my favorite products. I got the chrome dip, too and I love the look. I was skeptical of this tip from my wife - at her recommendation I cleaned my headers with a product called "Bar Keepers Friend" and 0000 steel wool. The blue came off instantly and they look as new. It was a 5 minute detail and they look perfect.

I'm a chef and the restaurant group I work for does a lot of work with AllClad pans. AllClad recommends bar keepers friend fork cleaning their polished stainless cookware and it works great. I never thought of that for headers. Great idea, I'll have to try it out.

  22. Trying the video upload - not sure if this will work. (I know, slow shifts, but it's a column shift and I'm just going for a drive)

One more for ****s and giggles. It was hard to really get on it as there were a lot of cars on our quiet country roads today at this time.

    Nice roadster.love the nailhead.

  30. I'll have to keep an eye out for your roadster around the bay area, my sandersons are starting to show their age and are a bit on the short side. Seeing them in person could seal the deal for me on a new set.
