Earlier in the year, I contacted Shane, at Baileigh through the HAMB for a power bead roller to replace my old hand cranker. I was restoring a wrecked Aluminum bodied Lotus Eleven. Making repairs on existing panels, makings new panels, and panels with the wire bead edge was made MUCH easier with the new power bead roller from Shane. Good stuff guys, thanks. And I know, it's not a hot rod.
used to frequent low cost and there was a gentleman scratch building a eleven. I was very disappointed when he finished it as he drove it and determined that it was so low that traffic couldn't see it and sold the project off. Very cool car.

Man, that's some 'ironing job' you did there...Beautiful 11! Brits did some wonders with 'Alu-Minium', as they called it. Straightening it out after a 'mishap' has to be deeper than forming it from flat. I worked on some Super 7s at my shop, and road testing them was scary. Low is the word... Checked the seat of my pants when I got out...Nothing ripped, but terra-firma felt like it was...close...
