Customs Dumb question: would '55 f-100 fenders look right on a '56 dodge PU

i need a bed and fenders for my '55 dodge swb. Found a bed,old timer said use '55 to '79 f-100's. at a glance they look right,open to ideas and opinions

the ford fenders are close, for resale it might not be good, if you like them and don't plan to sell it would not matter

 

I think they look better than the stock fenders. They are easier to get, and probably cheaper too. I don't see anything wrong with using a repro Ford bed and fenders as long as you are not doing a restoration.
