One of my agreements with my wife after my long Hospital stay was that I would do some fun things. She insists that I will not live forever although I argue with that. I attended the Roundup, Byron Meltdown ,and now will be going to The Tri-Five nationals in Bowling Green Ky next weekend.Hopefully I can make the Super Show in Vegas later on. The opportunity to see the Corvette museum In Bowling Green is an option. Has anyone been there? Worth the time and money? Anyone run a shop in town I could visit? And most importantly ,any out of the way foodie places that are cool? I likes Sammiches. And If any of you are there ,I'll be the big ugly guy with Grey Poupon Mustard on his shirt.
Over 300 restaurants in BG alone. There is a place right in front of the Hilton garden inn, Got a huge burger, and dang it i cant think pf the name of it.I will. still tired from the trip back from l'ville .
Yeah the museum is ok, I prefer the plant tour. Although some time around this time of the year, they shut the plant tour down to re-tool for the new model year. BG is a college town, so there will be no problem getting a bite, just ask the locals. I'll be there as well, weather should be nice and hot and humid like it always is down here. Have a safe trip and enjoy the ride.
I'm planning on going Saturday. Didn't get my '55 ready. Did think about wiring a spare '55 grill to the grill of my '34. but figured they wouldn't let me in.
I'm headed that way Tuesday tag 99. Thinking about going to advanced plating in Nashville Thursday morning. Then making the trip back to BG with a big group of trifives. Free tour to the museum and a free cookout. Ron
