I did a search, but still need answers.

I recently got a 63 Lesabre. I wanna switch from single M/C to a dual master.

Does anyone know if there is a bolt on ?

Im not sure how good the booster is, if its no good, i'm gonna replace that too.

    I read a post that a 70's chevy [ forget exactly ? ] might be a full bolt on.

    Does anyone know ?

Can't say for sure for your model, but for my 64 Riv I used a Fenco M1489. Another possibility is the M1328. Should be able to x-ref the numbers to your brand of choice. If I remember right they were the same internally (piston size), but one is for a long rod and the other's for a short rod. Can't remember which is which, but one should work. Believe they were used in later 60's GM's.

    Good luck,

My old 60 El Camino had a single master, similar to the one on my 64 Riviera. It had the domed cap with a large spring clip. I think a previous owner may have swapped a Buick booster and master on, it was definitely not the stock El Camino master cyl. However, that is just information as to the type of master cyl it had. I swapped a 68 Chevelle 4 wheel drum dual master on and it worked great. Bolted on to the booster and had the correct depth for the brake push rod.
