Technical How to restore a ECO Air meters VIDEO comming soon

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by tonyimpala, May 30, 2015.

  1. 005 Fin.JPG I would like a show of hands if there would be an interest in a video that illustrates restoration of ECO air meters.
    I have been restoring Eco model 97 and 98 Air meters (AKA tire-flaters) for some time now. I had a thought of making a video of my next restoration. The air meters are restored cosmetically and are fully functional. The following are topics that will be illustrated in the video: dis***embly, bodywork, paint, polishing, mechanical, and final ***embly
    The internals are rebuilt as well. I will provide tips on the hard to remove pieces as well as a list of vendors that sell replaced parts. Contact me through PM or as for my email.
    Thx in advance

  5. Me too. I've had one around for almost twenty years that needs a restoration.

    Hey, Tony;
    While I don't have one, I'd enjoy seeing a how-to video. Always interested in seeing how older stuff works, is designed, & new tricks/materials on restoring the old stuff.
