This year will be AWESOME! I can't wait! I'll be there as a spectator for the third year in a row, but judging by the line-up, this will be the biggest and best!
Coming as a spectator from eastern Iowa. Shotgun seat available if anyone wants to head out with me. Leaving Friday morning.
Been watching the hashtag hotrodhillclimb and can't believe how beautiful it is! Epic cars and scenery already! The video of the reliability run that I see posted it too cool
It just doesn't get any better than the Hotrod Hillclimb!!! Great time this weekend. Reliability run on Friday was a good way to start it off. 300 troublefree miles clocked on the odometer of the Hudson when we pulled into the driveway tonight.
I also realize this post was started in 2015 but the 2016 hill climb is this weekend. I totally agree,I don't do fartbook or instant gratification,I'm a Hamber! HRP
Great event....Logged in over 1500 miles in the roadster and it does not get any better than attending the Hill Climb in a deuce roadster. Next year I hope to drive the 3 window to this event though.
Thank you so much for putting on hands down the best event in the Rocky Mountain Region!! Here is a link to a thread I started. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/hot-rod-hill-climb-pictures.987495/
I prefer the Hillclimb over playing in the Dirt... I don't mind watching others race on the beach or on dirt tracks but old cars seen enough abuse in the past 60-80 years. The Hillclimb as well as the Drag racing appear to be a more dignified way for an aging car to stretch it's legs. LOL
