Customs What End Goes into the

    The Brake Line has a short on one end and a long screw on the other what end goes into the Brake Cylinder, or does it not matter

  5. i think they are made one long and one short nut for this reason: i have found with some wheel cylinders the short one has the threads bottom out before the inverted flare is tight

    It looks better with the short end in the master though.

    i have always used the long one on the wheel cylinders. [just the way i was told]

  10. I have run into situations where I could not get a wrench on the short one to tighten it when it recesses into the cylinder too deeply.

    Yeah, me too. So I cut the line right there, and used a socket. :D
