Going to vegas this weekend for the first time as an adult, hahah last time i was there i was 6.

Just curious on what you guys opinions are on what to see/do. GOnna do the Imperial Collection, and probably run to SoCal.

I will only be there fri/sat/sunday. Sunday we are doing the richard petty Experience out at the speedway.

just seeing if you guys know about something i havent read about that should be done.

Vegas rental cars are cheap! Go to Thrifty and demand a Magnum or 300. Dream car rentals has a 59 Caddy, and a 'gl*** 29 roadster for $300 a day. The 29 has a sbc with the timing backed off and the throttle doesn't open all the way. Bring a 9/16th ratchet/socket, and small straight screwdriver. :D Be careful about the brakes on that too, the rears lock up before the fronts.

After you have your working roadster, wheel over to "Dino's", tell them the Repoman from NJ sent 'ya. Throw a couple of the ******s in the rumble seat and head over to the "Art Bar" around the corner. Watch out for transves***es over there, unless that's your thing. From there go to the "Double Down Saloon" and pick a fight with the bouncer, again, tell him the Repoman sends his regards.

At that point you may need to call "A Jackpot Bail Bonds", again, regards from Repoman. Their number is: (702) 368-2245

Call me when you wake up and I'll give you another list for day 2!

    What to do/see in VEGAS?

    EVERYTHING YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just remember, its the town that doesn't sleep, so you got all night, too!

All I ask is one pull of the slot arm for me. :D

  6. I was just there last weekend, had a blast... here's a couple of suggestions:

    1. Drive out Boulder Highway to Lake Mead, take the tour of Hoover Dam

    2. Catch one of those Cirque du Soleil shows... it's some serious coin (figure $100+ per ticket) but but totally mind blowing. My wife drug me to "O" show at Bellagio. I thought it would be kinda gay, but it was really amazing.

    3. Check out the bands playing at Hard Rock Hotel and House of Blues (at Mandalay Bay). We caught Social Distortion Saturday night, the show was killer.

    4. "Neon Graveyard," where they have all the old huge signs is incredible.

    5. Liberace Museum!

    6. Graceland Wedding Chapel -- get hitched while being serenaded by Elvis impersonators

You don't need a hire car for the Dam, there are loads of coach trips going there each day. Walk down the Strip and you'll see loads of signs for people that are running trips from Vegas. You can even get to the Grand Canyon and Death Valley from there.
    Have a great time!

If you're into a little outdoorsy stuff, take a ride up to Red Rock State Park. It will be an awesome drive if you rent that roadster! :) Most people don't realize there is stuff to do off the stip too. We even have a mountain! Check that out! Need directions, PM me.

Someone said Double Down earlier... place RULES! Good times there! Also, there is some places down by Freemont. One's called the Bunk House and lately they've had some good music. There's another place right on LV Blvd in that area that I can't remember the name of, that is supposed to have good music and good acts there quite a bit too. Name has slipped my mind, though.

Have fun, and if you're here and single... well... there's even MORE for you!!! Cheetahs, Little Darlings, Club Paradise, etc.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Not to discurage you from taking the DAM tore... but it's not NEARLY as good as it used to be (since 911)! It's a short tore, very expensive for what you get, parking ****s, and there are retarded torists everywhere! Worth at least driving up there to check it out though.

And another thing... don't bother looking for Area 51... you won't get far

What Dakota didn't tell you, is his mom and dad were going to redo the wedding vow thing. She found out the cost and said scew that and opted for Richard Petty thing. She my kind of women!!!

  12. I will also say hit the Double Down saloon, one of the best dive bars around. The cabbies usually ask "are you SURE?" when you tell them to go there!

Also, check out the Imax shows. THey are really cool movies! There WAS one at Ceasars?

I go toEllis island on Koval. $1 beers that they brew there and cheap BBQ. Not a top of the line place but I like it.

  14. Go to the Voodoo Lounge on top the Rio hotel one night, just for the view of the strip, it's open air. Take the shuttle bus from the MGM.

Does anybody know if the Imerial palace still has a few cars in the museum?

Don't let limo drivers take you to a ********* unless they take care of the cover charge, and don't go to Club Paradise before 11 PM. Period.

Circ de Soliel if you have the cash, the one with the water is the best.

Cube Libre at the Hard Rock on lazy afternoon, free hookah with the purchase of 2 drinks. It's quiet and relaxing, and sets you up for the rest of the day for carousing.

Slots of fun down by Circus Circus has the cheap but huge hot dog and beer deal. The prime rib special at the Golden Gate Diner on Fremont is a good deal. Fremont is where you want to gamble too. Terribles is pretty good too.

again, the voodoo lounge at the rio!
take the FREE shuttle from harrah's on the strip.

double down saloon, get the *** juice!
    (they are $3 each, or 3 for $11 :D )

go to the wild wild west, change a $20 at the bar and ask for the luncheon coupon, get the FREE lunch.

the westward ho has 5 cent coffees from 8 am til 10 am

the boardwalk casino on the strip has a super cheap buffet, as well as circus-circus.

    go to so-cal.

go to freemont street at night, see the light show and get a deep fried *****ie! (yeah, i said a deep fried *****ie)

there are tons of ****ie bars, only one is fully **** and serves alcohol. if you want specifics, pm me.

whatever hotel you stay with, ASK FOR THEIR COUPON FUNBOOK. take advantage of the coupons.

go to the indoor shooting range and shoot the hell out of some targets, but be careful, you may go through a couple hundred dollars worth of ammunition inside of two minutes if you have one of those fully automatics machine guns.

i'll think of more and get back to ya...

Quick update... Boardwalk closed, so no more cheap buffet, and when I went to the Stardust for the Antique motorcycle auction a few weeks ago, Westward Ho was also closed. I have a feeling it had something to do with the contraversy over the name... don't know though.

  17. What tredboy said - make sure you head up to old Las Vegas. Tons of people go to LV and have never even heard of Fremont street. The hourly light show with the 2 million lights in the overhead canopy is great to see. And because it's off "The Strip" things are cheaper and the odds are better.

Westward Ho closed back in November, nothing to do with it's name though (which I think is a nautical term, as well as a town in the UK). The site has been sold to make way for hi-rise condos.

again, depending on where you're staying, arizona charlie's on boulder highway has 7 late night breakfasts for only 77 cents each.

and go to the hard rock as mentioned before, you'll see celebrities, if you're into that ****.

and check out the hookah lounge if you smoke cigarettes, it's cool, but the drinks are pricey.

That makes sense. High-rises are going NUTS out here! The reason I mentioned the name/contraversy thing is because there was some local contraversy over the name and to what it "Implied"... I know, I know stupid, but then A LOT of stupid things happen here! Usually petty stuff too! Any hoot, I hope nobody had reservations there for this weekend! Or Bourbon Street for that matter! B. Street got blown up this morning to make way for something "secret"...

There is a cruise night on Friday night at the Town Center Grille from 6 to 9 P.M. AT 2992 W. CHEYENNE/SIMMONS. This is on the far west side of town. About a 20 to 30 miniute drive from the strip.
PM me if you would like more info.

I think I heard about that the other day. Is that every Friday? What kind of cars/bikes are showing up?
