Looks to have been a great buy. Wonder why so cheap?

I'm not into customs much, but that one is done nicely. Not overstated.

Found a shot from the rear, not a very common taillight treatment but it really flows with the car. 53 Kustom.jpg

As much as I like customs I like that one better. Love the traditional hot rod look.

Hate to criticize anyone's car however to me this car has a split personality going. Paint job (flames) make it more hot rod than the rest of the car which leans in the direction of a mild custom. ''Traditional'' is a broad brush that covers not only many styles including regional and as small as neighborhoods. So I'll go along with that cl***ification but this one doesn't really excite me. But as I've always said all builds only have to please one person and that's the one that owns the ***le.

If all builds suited our personal taste we would all be bored. Isn't it great when we see the one that does twist our key?

I agree and it really reminds me of some of the cars in high school where guys added stuff a bit at a time. A good friend of mine used to call them J.C.Whitney specials. Didn't look so good at times but eventually it flowed well.
