I was lucky enough to get free use of the machine. The machine is co-owned by The Rod and Race shop in Shepparton and a fellow club member. They have 3" and 4" dies in both traditional (rounded) and the squared off (flatter)shape. We did mine in 3" traditional then we did Angelo's 36 bonnet with the 3" squared off shape.

Hey everyone, this is Ethan the kid, I'm back from overseas, had a great time, but real happy to be reunited with my 34 ford pick-up. Can't wait for it to be back on the road and hear the engines pumping like Gorillas. This is the first Fathead my dad had ever built, and after 25 years, it's come back to life.
It's nearing the completion for the Nagambie rod-run, hey, who's joining us?

Thanks Cam we have all been away for so long I am so looking forward to connecting back into what I love. Fingers crossed I will have my wife drive the pick up ( God am I thinking straight? No she will do well !) I will drive beside in the coupe with Steve the Greek with his 40 merc packing a new huge cube stroker flathead and my good mate Mitch in his super clean Camaro, possibly his father in law with a very very sweet single spinner convert, but firstly I need to complete the truck. It's close man....but no cigar yet

I need to share that when I was in the US I connected with Uncle Max Musgrove the 97 stromberg spe******t and he taught me allot, let me tell you ! He us here on the hamb
The hot ticket for any 97 stromberg is to ensure you run size 46 jets and 67 power valves for any mild to hot street combo. M***ive difference, really spectacular !
Just ask the Greeeeeek if I'm talking straight ...

I'm looking so forward to the Crankster run!
Just an update on the pickup, all is done its ready for the road. Major issue at this point is I have found one stripped thread on the Lhs of block where stud cannot seat adequately at torque figures. Because head is down on 23 studs I don't want to try and pry it loose so we will try and repair thread in situ. George (Ace) Peel believes repair is valid so next weekend we will attempt it and aim at getting get the old girl fired up.
