I left the house late but got to MOKAN early. Still waiting for some racing, so I spent some money with the vendors. Even thought I'm here I am looking forward to the coverage! There is still time so come on down!

This is why I don't take pics at the drags. There are much better photographers out there than I. We just got home, had to leave early due to a prior commitment for Sunday here at home. Had a great time, reconnected with old friends met a couple new ones. Friday at the hotel was great as usual, woke up to pouring rain which was a bit of a downer but like I told my lovely wife. If all we got to do was get out of town, hang with some awesome folks, eat a couple good meals, it was well worth it. Really glad that the weather cleared and drag racing commenced cause I love a good old fashioned drag race but anyone who thinks this event is just about racing is missing a LOT. Some my most memorable "Drags" have been when things went a little sideways and everyone still had a great time. It's the people that make it for me, the cars and racing is just a common thread that brings us together. Big thanks to Ryan, Marcie and crew for all you do to bring this event together.
Introduced my 10 year old son to drag racing yesterday at the event... He may never be the same. He has decided that anyone who will climb into a FED and straddle a pumpkin might just be crazy in a good way! We had a fantastic time. I don't know who the Organ Grinder driver was but you were putting on a show. Thanks to all the peeps that risked breaking their **** so we could be wowed for a few hours.
Got any more Tom...??? And thanx for putting them up...wanted to get to the drags this year in my new street g***er but unfortunately, my deadline came and went and it didn't get done-maybe next year...!!! R-
