As always, Tom, great shots and much appreciation for sharing them with us! That FE-powered A coupe is singing my song... Almost fine art...
Others have said it as well, but this was my favorite, looks like it drove right out of 1955....Tom, thanks for the great photo art, outstanding as always!
Checking out the great display of historical MoKan Raceway photos. Every major drag car in the '60's and 70's ran at MoKan one time or another, in those days.
Some are built to look like their from the 50's and some never left. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=23564
The ripples weren't a consideration, I just shot it. Just now, I noticed that there are ripples of the rear fender, but not the grille.
Damn fine coverage Mr.Tom. Plenty of wall art you have created here, THANKS for the time and effort! Joe
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachments/_ted1203-jpg.2989225/?embedded=1 Is this bill wilberts 40 ford if not it sure looks like it I remember when he bought that car my dad built his 37 when it was red and he brought that car down for dad to tune and it was the first time I heard a completely stock tuned flathead run when my dad shut the hood to take it for a drive I (being young and not knowing any better) told my dad the engine died and my dad said "no son that's the way it's supposed to sound quiet and smooth as a sewing machine" You sure do capture the moment thanks for sharing your pics
Yes, it's Bill's. He has had his eye on it since he was in high school, but the old guy that owned it never wanted to sell it until 30-40 years later.
