I wish I could comply, that's been in my 40 Ford file for a while now. I have no info on it.

 

Thanks to PovertyFlats (Paul Kruse) on FB for hooking me up with Nicole of the Gypsum Flea Market I know have a new plate topper for the back of the '40. I had one of those everybody's got one Gilmore cast aluminum ones. Tried and tried to find one of those moonshine capital ones I saw on the HAMB but unobtainium so far. So for now, and it doesn't take much these days, I am happy to sport the only one of these in New England I wager.

Oh man, I LIKE that! Hadn't really thought about Lincoln wheelcovers on a '39/'40, man that really looks good.

 

Here I go again being the odd man out again. I like the 39 trunk handle and base.OK ,I will take my beating now.

Its funny, I love them too, have often thought about getting a set for my coupester, as an alternative to the short bar lancers. It never occurred to me to think about putting a set on my '39 convert. They look GREAT on there!

 

Its all good. My deck is going to be clean as a babys bum...

 

I hate this thread it just makes me want a 40 or even a 39 Ford

just back from Day 1 of HRR at New England Dragway. Miss Linda has her fill of the noise and my constantly stopping to bullshit with old friends I only see at this event while she sits in the wheelchair. Her knee can't take the walking. Tomorrow a friend will stay with her and I can immerse myself for the whole day. Anyway couple of '40s in the show and shine area which is usually pretty small on Friday, lots of folks work, not like us seasoned citizens.
