Hot Rods Great service from LOKAR

I'm planning on changing carbs on the 340 in my '27 Ford and when I went to undo the cable stop for the trans modulator cable, I discovered the tiny set screw was siezed. I had to drill it out to get it off. I then discovered how hard it was too find a decent cable stop. They were all made for lawnmowers and were big and ugly.

I finally emailed LOKAR who's product it was. Eric Tate informed me that their parts have a life time warranty and they'd throw one in the mail, Tennessee to Saskatchewan.

So here's my shout out to them.

Lokar stuff is spendy but they are the best, sure beats that Chinese crap out there!!

 

The parts are over ten years old, so that's pretty impressive in and of itself.

Great service from lokar!

I had a used Trans mount style shifter and wanted to go with a floor mount.
Called them up and they pieced the needed floor mount brackets together for me and had them in a couple days.
It wasn't free, certainly reasonable- but I didn't have to buy another shifter.
