Chevy 1/2 ton chassis.

Hello.
I have this ch***is I belive is from a chevy pickup somewhere between 37'-54'. Is it possible to tell the year?

 

due to the short front cab mounts, I'm guessin 47 or older

 

^^^^^^^....I agree, older than the '47/'48 AD (Advance Design) models.....so, 1946 or earlier.

I did a 42 for a friend; the front bar mounts are longer. I'd say late 30s or early 40s, what is the wheelbase, 115"?

 

1936-39 . it has the cast front spring shackle mounts for one bumper bolt per side.

 

The wheelbase is around 111"??..
