    Hello There!!!!!
    MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU HELL RAISERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just wanted to let you guy's and gal's know about a new product dad and I just finished. "14 " PIE CRUST SLICKS" these are being capped on BRAND NEW CASING, This is what we are going to start doing to get some of these tires re released. The casing we are using is U.S.A. made 225/75/14 that has been very hard to find used. So we are buying brand new tires and capping them. The cost is not bad considering it is only raising the cost to $380.00 pair for this particular tire. The tire is 27 1/2" X 7" X 14" and is perfect for that early 60's DOORSLAMMER. We also have capped 8.00-14 with sucsess but that is also a very hard to find casing.
Again thanks to everyone for the support and look forward to many happy burnouts in the new year.

Nice Cody, BTW the slicks I received from you at the drag strip re-union have given me about 1,200 miles on the daily Fairlane trouble free! Thanks, and Merry Christmas too you and tell Mom and Pops I said hello. O yeah they ain't to bad in the rain either, but the ICE,WOW, thats a little different. May just need a set of the 8's for the Falcon and how are the 16's comming along?

Are these radials? Are they a real "slick" compound, or just for looks?

Anything available in a ~26" height? You can't fit much more on an early Chevy II.

    Hello,
K-memeber good to hear from you bro, I cant believe the story's I have been hearing about the places you have been driving this winter with my cheater slicks. "ICE""SNOW""BAD AS RAIN". Good to hear that hey are a all weather, MUD&SNOW Cheater Slick:eek: Thanks for your Valiant effort. My 16" rim tires are developed and in stock. I am making 30x10x16 and also 29x7.5x16.I cant wait to come up and see you guy's, would like to show you all the new stuff dad and I have been doing, Merry Christmas

And for the 2nd question these are RADIAL tires. I can capp the nylon tires as well. These tires are made with the latest technology in rubber. This is race compound rubber with durometer reading of cold 65 and under hot burnout goes to low 50's. I wish I could build a tire only 26" tall for you Chevy 2 guy's but my shortest mold will only go 26 5/8"X7. I know that from what I hear 26" is max for heith on that particular car. Thanks Cody

Are these DOT approved for the street or use at your own risk. I see one line down the middle. just curious but Cheaters usually have two lines around the tire. Pretty cool stuff

HURST TIRES are for OFF ROAD use only!!!!!!!!!!!:p
**** they can make great street tires as well. The line you see around the tire is the mold line. Those pictures do not show "CHEATER GROOVES" I can groove any tire that I build. That does not make it street legal, but gives the appearance. Thanks 6t5frlane

Here are some more pics of the 8.00-14 that we capped, it was an older nylon with a *****in wide white. I wish I could find a whole building full of that tire I only have the one. I do know that I can buy it brand new for around $125.00 each with the wide white. It is mounted on a 14x7 ET mag that I believe is one of the earliest production of ET's, wheel did not even have a safety bead:eek: I can capp 15"s in this same mold. Casing used in 15" is very hard to find used, so we are also capping brand new 15" radila tires to be able to offer this 27 1/2"x7 in 15" as well.
    Thanks Cody

I'll have to do some measurement / trial fitment one of these days. 26 5/8x7 *might* just make it, but it would be darn close!

    Thanks for the updates!

When are you going to have a website up and running?

  10. I just saw this post. I have a set of Hurst Pie Crust 225/75/14 we are taking a long trip in the car and I want to swap them for radials of the same size do you have any suggestions, the only manufacture I can find is Coker and I don't want to run whitewalls or pay for them if I can avoid it... any help?. Since the photo I reversed both.
