Event Coverage Thompson Gasser Nationals

Going to the Thompson G***er Nationals this weekend and planning on pitting on Thursday. Does anyone know what time the track opens on Thursday?

I was told we are not going to be able to get in early just Friday.

 

Why don't you call the track, and ask them.

 

Have called twice. Just get a recorded message. Can't find anything on the website.

 

If you go Thursday you can stay overnight in south parking field they will not let you into track until Friday see you there..........Dave

Friday was a good day, got 6 p***es in. Saturday was a total rain out!

 

Made it there Thursday afternoon, dropped off the coupe at the track and went for a nice steak dinner at Chops. Friday made four p***es or so and ran a 10.55 / 120 mph ( first time at 1/4 mi. ) with the now blown Ross Racing Olds. Big difference than the six deuces. Gave the camera to my darling wife to get some video. Turns out she pressed every ****on but the "go" ****on! Maybe next time.
