This 33 Ford five window coupe shown behind the 32 in the photo was built in B.C. in the 60's. It made it's way to Alberta in the 80's, I believe. It was channeled with cycle fenders, and ran a 327 and a four speed. At least that is what was in the coupe when I rode in it in 1975. Last I saw it was reduced to just a body, and was sold out of Calgary about three years ago - going to either Edmonton or Grand Prairie. It is a light yellow color, and when I saw the latest pics a few years ago, needed to be entirely rebuilt. Any of you Alberta Hambers know where this coupe is now?
I haven't seen it but would like to. If it was sold out of Calgary it wasn't advertised on the net, I look on kijiji every morning over coffee for the last many years and I don't recall seeing that.
It was advertised on the net, that is how I located it in Calgary. But it was sold before I could make a deal - the owner Shawn told me that a father and son from either Edmonton or Grand Prairie - he is not sure which - came with cash and a trailer and off the coupe went.
Somebody in Alberta must know where this coupe body is now - the key identifying marks are the pale yellow paint and the body was channeled, so the floor is not in the stock position. If you have any information, please post it for us.
I thought I read somewhere that your pic was taken in the Creston-Cranbrook area. South east of the province.
