After missing Starliner the past 2 years, I was fortunate to be able to return and, as in the past, it did not disappoint. This is definitely one of the best and most unique shows anywhere made up of two main parts - the stellar garage crawl on Friday and the main event with a high density of grade a rods, customs and others parked among the aircraft at the Kansas Air Museum in Wichita, KS. The Stray Kats - who put on this event with a large contribution by the Lonely Knights from the Colorado Springs area deserve a huge, huge congratulations for how well this event came off.

Looking forward to more of your artwork, better than being there I guess. Seeing this cars through your lens and with your treatment of the colors is a pure pleasure.
When it comes to the peach Tudor that you ask about the exact year it is hard to tell from the sideview. The beltline mouldings seems smooth and that points towards late '47 or '48. The fender trim is removed so that gives no clue. However it is the grill and placement of the parklights that really tells us whether it is a '46/early '47 or a late '47/'48. So you gotta dig up some more pixs of it.
The only certain way to decide the exact year is the vin number. I guess you didn't photograph that.

Thanks Kjell. I know how the 46 early 47 differs from later 47/48. The problem with this one is it had no turn signals at all. They had been covered and painted. I am hoping someone who knows the owner or the specific car will see this and let me know. Thanks also for you comments.

Great pics as always Dan. Katherine will love the picture of the car with the neon on. I'm not sure I'm in love with the neon yet, but she loves it. :)

What a great weekend...makes me sad I've missed the previous years.

I loved that gold 67 caddy. It looks waaaay more awesome than mine would have in '87 had I followed through with the hot pink and turquoise splash graphics. ;)

Thanks Dr. Dave. I am not sure if I love it either, but is sure is cool looking in pictures. I am glad you got to go to Starliner and find out how cool it is. It won't be your last one for sure. That gold Caddy always poses well for me. I'm sure it looks way more awesome than it did in 87 too.
