I am also live in the Dallas area and looking for some tips to beef up my 54 chevy 4 door.

 

Hi. Welcome from down in Yoakum Texas. There should be some of the 51 - 54 Chevys around up there to find. There is a swap meet in Decatur Tx this weekend if I have my dates correct. Might be worth dropping by there as it is usually a good meet.
