I don't have any new sketches or paintings this week so I figured I'd dig out a couple old photos and do a bit of editing on them.

  13. Great show everyone! I don't take too many pictures of stuff anymore but here are some from the past.
First up are a few panels. The first one is painted on both sides of a piece of plexigl*** and gives a great 3-D effect.
Second and third are panels that feature lines that weave in and out creating sort of a basket weave effect.
Fourth is my painting stool I did in 2000. Still use it but the paint has peeled a bit.
Fifth and sixth is one of my pith helmets with the flying pig attached.
Seventh is one of two auction clocks I made for our charity panel jams to indicate when the next auction is taking place.
Last is kind of a special piece. A friend of my son was working in Florida as a telephone lineman repairing lines after a hurricane and grabbed a 7600 volt hot wire resulting in the amputation of both his arms just below the elbow. He was 31 years old at the time. He has a great at***ude about it and told me that as long as people were going to stare at him he might as well give them something to stare at. So we flamed his new arms. When he asked how much for the job I said,"It will cost you a couple of pictures next to my car". When I look at his picture now it makes my aches and pains seem a little bit less important. n_a(7).jpeg n_a(9).jpeg n_a(10).jpeg SnapOnSeat2000.jpg Aeropork 001.jpg Aeropork 006.jpg IMG_4378.JPG n_a.jpeg

I love all of these, Jigger... from the final full version, to what you call the rejects! These are not rejects, mate! In fact, my personal favorite is the one with the sultry lil' gal in the skirt! ;)

Wonderful work by everyone this week (as usual).
    My meager offering...
16"x20" poster for a local car show next Saturday. The Camaro & truck are previous year's "Best of Show" winners. The bike is fictional. All digital.
Same art in different configurations also used for flyers (8 1/2 x 11), awards, dash plaques and t-shirts. With luck I should have a shirt to show for next week's FAS.

You nailed it for me, I have both of these in my stash of projects. Wouldn't mind having a copy of the Mark2.

It's great to view all the different styles and I must admit, I like your captions. Obviously a thinking man!
