Well the 5th reliability run is in the books. I think this was the best weather so far, and my personal favorite year we have had yet. Just a good group of people and some great cars and trucks. The West side stepped up their game and finally won this year at 30-29. Some guys don't register as I think we had around 100 cars but no matter it's the fun that counts.
A big thanks to the Hot Rod Cafe in Monitor WA for doing a great job feeding us and to @Lytles Garage and @51farmtruck for the use of the land and for all the help.

Thee emperors stayed in Leavenworth along with the Vancouver/Portland based club Estranged and we had a great time. I thought the motel was gonna kick us out but they said they loved us! We partied pretty early in the morning! In our group we had a car from Red Deer, Alberta Canada and my good friend Paul and @glendale drove Glendale's 1951 Ford coupe up from Sacramento to Spokane, Spokane to Monitor and today made it back to Sacramento. This was a flathead non overdrive car. 2200 miles total.

Thanks to everyone, this event goes on because people show up. The only thing that funds it is T shirt sales so THANK YOU to those who purchased a shirt. See you all next year

I have been working on my 53 Ford Sunliner since I bought it in July and it made it's run with zero problems. Runs excellent, very comfortable. Great road car!

And my dad has always wanted a 1953 Ford convertible. When I bought mine he got all fired up and found a nice Arizona, one owner, one repaint car at a dealer is Delaware. He bought it hoping to get it here by the run. On Wednesday they told him it would be in Seattle on Friday. So he skipped work, rented a car and he and my mom drove to Seattle, picked it up, drove it on the run and all the way home. Car did flawless. It's a lot nicer then mine haha

Great show and a lot of great cars, I wish I had made it earlier as It looks like I missed several of the cars that left.

You guys caused a stir in Waterville as my buddy was talking about the cars being there when we ran up to his place to pick up a couple of doors for my ot truck that he has been saving for me.

Wow, great looking cars and that quaint little Motel looks as though the setting could be in Germany or Switzerland!

Thanks for putting on the show Chris! I enjoyed the travel pictures. As they say it's the Journey that is important. The fun is often the drive and the time spent with like minded friends.

The whole town thinks it's in the Alps, very rad place.

They even serve beers to go! (Though I'm not sure they knew that...)

I'll post up some photos tonight, right now I'm half asleep at work.

It belongs to Paul Harper. He spends part of the week in Roslyn and part of it in the Tacoma area most of the time.

Thanks Chris. The stance/ tire sizes are DEAD ON what I want to do on my car. I have a set of '56 Starfire caps as well, never really thought of running them on chromed wheels, man that looks right! Based on some period articles and how well he's matched the look, I'm guessing he is running 6.00x15s on the front and 7.75s or so on the back, but I'd love to talk to him.

@falcongeorge It is a dropped axle with reversed eye spring and a lowered rear spring. It has 5.60-15 front and I think G78-15 rear im pretty sure. It was my dads car when stock, then sold to my friend steve and he lowered it and wheel and tire. Pretty much all stock other than that, has less than 40,000 miles still I belieive. Glad you like it, its a sweeetheart.

Chris, It was a great show and a great day. I've got 80+ photos in my album "2015 Inland Emperors' East vs West Flathead Reliability Run". Looking forward to next year already!
