hey maybe one of you guys can help me, i havent been to the autorama in detroit yet.
i wanted ot p*** out small flyers of my work,(i specialize in old hot rod illustrations...look for my "art for sale posts" if you wanna know what they looks like)
i know theres alot of high money cars with ropes and diplays and ****, but for all the normal non million dolar rides is ther anything against p***ing flyers out? i know whenever i leave my windows open at a show i usually end up with a bunch of papers on my seats. i dont mind, but do you?
i just dont wanna go out of my way to make nice flyers only to be told i'm not allowed to p*** em out. tell me what ya think

If you have a car entered, you're not allowed to disperse anything more than a business card if I remember right. But that just means leaving a stack on your car. If you're walking around, how could they mess with you.

I may make it up Saturday for the day and night with the old lady! I will make sure to shave my *** this time. I will have to make another memorable appearance if I am going to make it for only one day!!! If I do I can't wait to see Deaths Doorstep in person. I am speechless just looking at the pictures. Anyone who knows will tell that is tough. Ha!

 

HUGE difference between lying flyers on a seat of a car at a cruz nite or outdoor car show and an indoor one. There will be stations around most of the cars downstairs and unless your "known" to the person, or group, you really should wait to be invited or ask before you cross those stations. Some of those guys have very pricey speed equipment in their displays and will certainly....well lets just say you'd better ask first before crossing.

You really need to get permission from someone like AutoramaBob here on the HAMB who is in charge of the Lower Level. I seriously don't think it's gonna fly. Why would they let you promote something free of charge yet charge those vendors thousands? I'd PM Bob to check BEFORE you spend money on "nice" flyers.

Well Chris , if you get them through the door,..... you can ask someone if they want one and hand them out that way if no one complains, but if you start putting flyers in the cars and get caught,....... you will probably be leaving really quickly,...... the commercial vendors have a contract to p*** stuff out but they usually have a hot honey asking if you would like one in front of there display. like I said if you start putting flyers in cars and get caught, you will probably be asked to leave, do not p*** go, do not collect your entrance fee. just a heads up. keep a low profile and you'll be fine,.... but don't put them in the cars !

 

yeah, thats what i figured. and i'm not tryin to step on anyones toes or get too close to anyones ride for that matter. i'm glad i asked. i'll make sure to drop a pm to autoramabob before i make anything for sure. thanks

I will be there Wend-Sunday, my car goes in Wend night and the 3 window Thur morning. Car's will be in the Ford Display up stairs (please still come say hi to me even though i'm upstair ) It will make me sad if you don't, I would rather be wherever the party is lol
I will not be wearing a Hamb ****, cuz I got my own clothing line to promote, look for the girl standing in the Ford Display looking bored, with long curly hair..... Pete I'm gonna bring a bunch of Detroit kids and they can jump all over and sit in your car, how about that lol.

 

We will be coming up Friday and Saturday. If I get the new Hamb shirt I just ordered I will wear it one day.

 

I guess since we're pointing out our distinguishing characteristics, if you want to find me, keep in mind that I FREQUENTLY hear from rednecks:
