Do you know what that upper stainless molding is from? The one that goes from the fenders above the bumper up and under the hood. I need one of those for mine.

I think they use 55 trim , that's what I plan on doing if I use my narrowed grill( have my buddy Tig them together and polish them ) 55 trim is 3 pieces !

If either of you find the clips that hold them on, let me know. I'm missing a couple and can't seem to find any that will work.

The sides are the wire doohickey things while the hood leading edge is the formed clip that the trim snaps over. I have replaced every one on my Customline. Tee Bird has great service.

Nice job. Just picked up a 54 myself. Where did you find the rings for the taillights, and what are they?

good ideas on the grill. But since you already have the stock grill handy, have you thought about making it a floating grill like Gary Howard did. looks awsome and fills that cavity great!

image.jpeg Stoked looks like I'm going to have some time for the 54 ! I was waiting on lower door hinges to get the doors right so I can get the front clip straightened out before starting the grill !!! Kinda been how's it's been sitting for a while since I worked on the lights , gave it a shave , Aerostar front springs and 3" blocks in the rear !!

image.jpeg image.jpeg So finally got back to working on this again and started frenching the headlights !! Also decided to redo the grill / surround and use a second upper section on the bottom , never have liked the narrowed grill think I narrowed it to much !! plans also to rework the front bumper too!
