    Hi guys,
This has some what been covered in other fashions but not what I needed.
I am trying to find a front seat for my 1941 Ford Panel Truck with 46" of room.
I would like to find a 60/40 with the 40 on the passenger side. I will have it upholstered so condition is not a concern. Possible modifications would be necessary it seems but I would like to get as close as possible to the dimensions needed.
    Would anyone have any advice?
I am finding out bucket seats would be much easier but I like the look of the Bench Seat as that is what I have now but that is on a solid platform and has NO adjustments what so ever.
It's time for a change even though I have driven it 80,000 miles like it is. Bones and getting older and girlfriend does not like this arrangement on our long trips to Cruisin the Coast in Boloxi, MS. "yeah I know what some of you will say about that comment" :)

you're probably have to go to the 80's/ early 90's cars to find 60/40 seats. after that mostly bucket type seating

  3. OT, but, Toyota PU extra cab might work for you. They recline too, should be good in a panel. Early '90's.

A small pick up is my guess also. I went to my local pick a part and found a mini van seat for the back of my 32 sedan. I was amazed at all the different configurations. I'm sure the pickups would be the same.

What you have to watch as you might know, is that the 40-41 Ford trucks pinch hard at the front edge of the seat and many require a trim. I have a seat from a 80's Nissan because of the thin back seat for some leg room, but that will not be a problem in the panel. A number of 40's owners owner use the Ranger.

Beating a dead horse probably. But look in the mid section seat from most SUVs, can get full and mid size. they have a lot of sizes of 40/60 seats, even arm rests
