  1. i've been putting my truck together at a friends shop in krum, texas. several folks here on the hamb know richard carter, but for those who don't, well, i'll just says he's a great guy, a great fabricator, and builds some really cool stuff. anyhow, i thought i would share a few pics of his rpu that he's working on. it's sort of a menudo of parts, but it's really cool. i think it looks alot like ralph malph's truck. if you saw the mazda powered modified roadster at the roundup with the waukesha radiator shell, that was one of his as well. it's got an "a" bed, and has a lift off top. hope ya like it.

Kool ride. It looks like you'll be finished soon. Only problem is its two cylinders short. But of course I'm really old school and to me a six cylinder motor should be an inline. I love the way you've done the valve covers. Keep'em guessing and confused. Very nicely detailed.

Possibly a Vortec v6 out of a late model Blazer?

  10. we usually meet on friday afternoons to drink and bench race, but most work happens on saturday.

i'll pass the kind words along to richard. it's a plymouth horizon rack that is mounted to the beam. he had this in a c-cab truck and you could cruise along with one finger on the wheel. i'll get some better shots for you guys.

not sure on what year v6.
