new from Pensacola

greetings from Pensacola, Florida. New here but have been a hotrodder since the early 70's. Current rides are a 1970 Camaro(pro-tour style) and a 1966 Buick Special 2dr hdtp(soon to get an LSx swap) Always looking for new ideas for this old brain. Thanks for having me, Bill

 

Years ago I talked to a man called Batman at Mr. Hero's bike shop. Are you him? Damn

 

my nickname has been Batman since the mid 70's. I knew the Hero family pretty well from their relatives out in Lillian but didn't spend a ton of time at the Harley shop. Most my time was spent at John Boydens old Speed Unlimited shop and hanging out at the Chicken Box back then. Got to do some top-shelf street racing back in those days(before the ricers ruined it for everyone) and had a great time. Now I'm just an old guy with a brain that refuses to acknowledge age. ****s because my knees and back remind me all the time! lol

 

Sometime next year I have to be in Pensacola for some school. Any dragstrips close by? I'm bringing my '29 Tudor with me.
