been pretty busy these last several weeks on the caddy,,,,,,i've made some progress,,,enough that its time to post a few more pics,,,,i shaved the door handles, shaved the deck lid, shaved the hood (not finished yet),,made the cutout for my recessed license plate, fabricated the gravel pan, built some hood scoops,,,,and i am contemplating using this 51 caddy grille,,,,,i plan on using some bullets (dagmars) where the parking light were, and some small round parking lights at the bottom of the top bar where it curves down,,,i was pretty set on using a 47 caddy grille, but i think this will look even better,,,im really liking it,,,it really gives the front a different look,,,,,,anyway,,here are some pics........

VERY NICE!!! All the mods you are making look factory.................Perfect!

What year are the quarters you used and is the bumper the same year?

Do you know of a company that repops the lenses and taillight assemblies?

I am using a set of '48 quarters on my '47 ford.... any answers you could give me would help a lot.

    Thanks.

The pan looks really good. I'm amazed at the difference from when I saw the car a couple weeks ago. Next time you take pictures, maybe you can get one of you for me , just to help jog my memory ! ( just kidding !) You are doing a great job and I really am enjoying learning more as you go. lm
