Club out of Chicago, circa 1956 called SHAUNDOS--CHICAGO----Had a chopped 50 Ford convert with carson top as a logo. Maybe 25 members at it's peak. I believe the plaques were made through Warsawski Auto Parts in Chicago. ANYONE??? BILL RINALDI

I posted this one in Vintage Shots; it's an ad from the 1953 Mark Keppel High School yearbook: (Original scanned page was cut off at the bottom)
BTW, For those that didn't know it, Koehler Foundry made all of the plaques that were sold by Stylized Emblem of Los Angeles. They were more of a sports paraphernalia company who manufactured T-shirts, jackets and other stuff for clubs and sports teams. I wonder what the political atmosphere was between the two companies in 1953 when Koehler ran this ad with that line "Buy direct from the manufacturer and save money."???
Anyone care to explain the name of this club? It must mean something in Aussie-ish, but I can't figure it out. I posted the photo on the Australia page on my website.
So there was a father who used to tell his son bedtime stories about his hero named Notnek who did all sorts of good deeds, heroic things, right and just things so his son had someone to look up to and act as a mental guide while growing up. It wasn't till later in his life that the son realized who that person was. That's what I was told by the guy that ordered the plaques - Kenton (McKay)
Nicking OlSkool Treasure Never Ever Keeping Still - Just a bunch of likeminded dudes who enjoy the same company. Pretty normal!!!
I haven't seen this one yet: From Westport, CT. Supposedly the actor Michael Douglas was a member in the late 50s or early 60s.
We are thinking of starting a club on eastern shore Maryland but we can't think of a name that hasn't already been used.
Did you see Hot Rod Primers latest thread on plaques and decals? Guess you need to bump your excellent thread more often so we don't forget you are still actively pursuing input. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...ecals-patches-plaques-club-cards-etc.1027773/
Someone sent me this photo and asked if I knew anything about the club based in Long Beach, CA ..... It appears to have had something attached in the center at one time. Perhaps a member's number, name or office the owner held in the club. Has anyone heard of this club or know what may have been attached?
U got me there, I've been in the club since 1985 and gave never seen one with a bike on it. I'll ask at the next meeting.
