Hi Baron, Thanks for posting some of our videos for other enthusiast to see. I will post our 2016 race schedule by the end of this year. Meeting you at the New England race was a great pleasure, would also like to meet other posters next year.
Thanks guys. Aligning the door posts with the windshield and trying to get a nice even gap is going to be a challenge. Once I get beyond that, things should progress pretty quickly. Looking forward to installing the gauges, wiring and firing up the motor.
Baron, your Corvette is looking great in primer and the stance is perfect. It is really going to be amazing once it is painted.
Baron I really like this 62 and the only thing wrong with it, is that I do not own it. I remember when it came up for sale on ebay. It has the right look for sure. I wonder what slicks he is running on the rear? If you see if again take a look or ask the owner. I have the Hurst slicks that are no longer available and some of the others wont fit very well.
HERE ARE A FEW PICS OF RAT SASS CORVETTE HE IS A GREAT GUY AND I ENJOYED HANGING OUT WITH HIM AND HIS WIFE YESTERDAY.
Thanks Bob. Seeing how nice your car is up close really made me kick this build up a notch. Yours is truly one of the nicest Corvette's (racecar or other wise)that I have ever seen. If mine comes out 1/2 as nice, I will be extremely happy.
One more to add to the group. This one is being built out in Indiana. Here are some pictures of Steve Norton's 56 Corvette. One more that will be cruising the streets this coming spring.
Wow Baron, you two have nailed the stance and the look with those two cars. The 56-57 Corvette Gassers are making a come back. Do you have any idea what color he plans to paint the 56?
Hi Jason. This car belongs to a gentleman I met on the TriFive Chevy site. He is located out in Indy. We have been in contact for the past year and 1/2. Good guy and very excited about getting the car finished. I told him to chime in here and give us more particulars on the 56. Hopefully he will soon.
It is a 56 that i bought as a body and frame. Already have a 56 driver so decided to build a gasser. Will be 454 or 502 with a dual quad tunnelram 4 speed and 9 inch Ford rear. Used 55-57 chevy fenderwell headers with little mods. Slow process hope to have ready by summer, color might be a shade of copper. Thanks
Steve, thanks for posting here. I have seen the factory copper color and it looks good. It's nice to see a variety of colors and cars built to the owners preference not just by the numbers cookie cutters. It would be nice if you could do a build thread or post a few pictures on this thread as the build progresses. There are a lot of us here that like these cars built gasser style. Thanks for the tip on the headers, I am always looking for ideas on how to do things.
maybe you guys could answer a question for me. I was wondering if you guys knew the carb number for the Carter WCFB carbs that came on the factory dual carb set ups. There is a parts place that is going out of business and I thought I might try to buy up some kits for stuff I am planning on having in the future.
I am unsure I have a buddy that has an old intake and I am wanting to assemble a setup that I will end up putting on my 61 chevy wagon. I just need carbs that will bolt to the intake.
