Has anyone got any experience of companies offering pre purchase inspections. I am based in England and may want a 1951 Mercury inspected in the Las Vegas area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Graham
Ever think about having a fellow hamber check the car out for you, offer them a few bucks for there time. I inspected a car for a fellow hamer several years ago,he bought the car and told me it was everything I said. HRP
If a fellow hamber in the Las Vegas area could check it out I would be more than happy to pay them for their time.
Just thought I would update this thread on what happened today which now means I dont require a car looking at in Las Vegas. I received a message from Ebay in the early hours this morning stating:- We think eBay account none***2 has been used without the account owner's permission, so we're now restoring it to them. To protect this member's privacy, we can't share any more details about their account. Followed on with a lot of don't contact, pay, respond etc etc The ad was showing as Best offer accepted this morning but totally deleted this afternoon. I suppose this is everyone's worst nightmare scenario of dealing across the internet.
Take your time. Cars are like women, when you grab what's in front of you just to have one, you'll end up with nothing but problems. As soon as you stop looking, the perfect one will be right on front of you.
For future reference, here is a company I have used and been very happy with. Best $$$ I ever spent. Very detailed inspection report and personal phone calls before and after the inspection. http://www.autoappraisal.com/prepurchase.htm
