Heading for the classifieds. Dad's car took a hit this week. PM me if you have 63-64 sheet metal or bumpers and trim.
guess i should migrate over here. here's mine, more pics once i get stance right. can't decide between wires (caddy or skylark), the turbines it has, or something else... corvette wheels? painted steelies? will be driven daily...
I really like the crazy shiny black GS that was posted back in this thread and elsewhere so skylarks are probably the biggest bang for the buck. I'm entertaining other ideas I guess just to be different. But if I ever have more money than I know what to do with, I'll do Borranis for the hell it.
I finally have one to add to this thread. I bought this 64 a short time ago. It was 75% restored about 10 years ago, and then parked. The paint is a custom mixed metallic black cherry. Looks black at night, red-brown in shade, and dark purple in the sun. Paint and interior are showing some age, but the 425 and ST400 only have about 200 miles on them. It's a fairly high optioned car, mostly stock, and in amazing shape. I plan to move the headlights behind the parking lights, and add a tube grille. In the far future, it's going to be a dark metalflake blue, blue interior, and airbags to get it down. Not sure what I want to do for wheels. I'd love some Appliance Apache's, or Kelsey Hayes Stripper's, but I'm thinking reversed Keystones are more obtainable.
If i wasnt at work id been there thats in my back yard Sent from my LGMS330 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
