Hey Jeff, got a '93 302 out of a van I'm trying to convert to carb to drop into my '56.....will this work for me??? Thanks, Joe
It would but you need the oil pump drive shaft to match which should always be changed in a SBF build.
So would this work without any alterations and will it do a good a job as the above Mallory? Is this the same as the one you use? Thanks, Joe. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201007373616?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
A lot of guys don't like the GM looking HEI on Fords they think it's ugly but I like mine it works and parts can be found anywhere. The EFI roller motors can use these: http://www.skipwhiteperformance.com/detail.aspx?Item=6502-5BLKI or the craigslist Mallory by using the correct oil pump shaft with it. http://forums.corral.net/forums/5-0-5-8-engine-tech/1350889-hd-oil-pump-shaft-5-0l-302-a.html
Thanks Jeff, Now all I need a use aluminum intake and carb. Don't want to pay new price. Thanks, Joe.
I just listed an Edelbrock on ebay : I had it on here for 10 days for $135 shipping included and no bites doing good there: http://www.ebay.com/itm/252140793760?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649.
Good little intake at a good price http://www.ebay.com/itm/Weiand-alum...ash=item419eb1a82c:g:sVEAAOSwwbdWKE1E&vxp=mtr This is the design similar to the early Ford Shelby/Cobra intakes.
This will work in a 93 302 physically, but that is more than likely a roller motor, which I believe will require a gear to be compatible with roller cam, they are not expensive and ebay and amazon have them
