Hello Gary,Awesome 55,it's nice to see you back into Hot Rods, was woundering when I would see you with a cool ride.I'm glad you pick a 55, wouldn't be Gary without his 55. Awesome fabrication on the car, keep the pics rolling, glad to see you back in the scene.
Gary, both your '55 and the insane Willys were such an inspiration to me. I was living in Germany and your cars were such a revelation. Made me stuff a 440 Chrysler in an Austin Healey 3000. Thank You for building them! Mike
I'm planning on being there to show the car as a work in progress. I will be in the Bendtsen Transmission booth. Everybody stop by and say hi.
Here are a couple of shots of the suicide doors. Dale Pelvit, the master fab. in the build, used all stock components to suicide the doors.
Complete motor with a set of header flanges and a complete adapter kit to mate it to any Chevrolet transmission for $23K. Need more pictures of the motor? Anyone interested?
GREAT to see the pics and get more information Gary. The car will certainly be different and I really like that you are keeping the body and interior stock appearing. And, yes, I believe some youtube video will be in order at some point!
Let's see..... astonishing..... extraordinary.....too Kool.....however described I like it, great job good luck. I remain CGM.
And, yes, I believe some youtube video will be in order at some point![/QUOTE] Yeah! I would love to hear what that motor sounds like? AND I always loved your old '55. It made a huge impression on me when I was a youngin'. Dan
