I picked up this Aluminum intake at a swap meet a few weeks back. It was marked as a Caddy intake and it does look like other caddy intakes. Its a 2 x4 Dual plan intake minus the heat risers. I am thinking this is more of a race application. The carb pads are not raised and slanted like the marine intakes. The carb pads don't look like they have been cut down as in the one carb pad there is the number 5 engraved. In p***ages between the the carbs there is a cast number 2000-1. There are also 2 vacuum port provisions. There are no other markings on it. One strange thing is on the flanges where they bolt to the heads there are raised bosses that have been drilled and tapped. Not sure what they are for. The intake really resembles the 1956 Cadillac Eldorado stock 2x4 cast iron intake but in aluminum form and without the heat riser. Any ideas of make?

This is the top and bottom view of the Intake I have

This is a picture of a stock cast iron Caddy 2x4 intake for reference.

Not sure its a marine intake. I pulled a pic of a Cal Connell Marine intake and the carb pads are really slanted on the marine intake. The intake I have doesn't look to have the extreme rake and they don't look to be cut.

Nice detective work F & J. The intake looks exactly like that. Now I know for sure. Thanks for the replies.
