I have a wheel for my 56 that has cracks and has been painted. Is there a post or a link that would provide instructions on how to make it like new, or close to new.

Vee out the cracks with a dremel tool.Use epoxy in the cracks slightly overfilling.sand them down.Paint.I did mine last year .I primed with polyester primer.Havent painted it yet.

I did the HRP fix on mine. PC-7 epoxy. I opened the cracks with a triangle file, cleaned out all the dust, hit it with some lacquer thinner to really get it clean first. The epoxy is messy and apply it sparingly... or be prepared for a ton of grinding & sanding. Sanded, primed... sanded some more. Filled minor voids with spot putty, more sand and primer until I was happy. Topped it off with a few coats of Duplicolor. I'll take some pix once I attach it with the horn ring.

Did one with JB weld, using a toothpick to sparingly work it into the cracks. Sanded, primed and then basecoat/clear. holding up well.
