DJ, Any pics from this year?

 

I thought people were dressed a little warm.....

 

I have a few that I took this year. Was waiting to see if somebody was going to start a thread for this years event.

Yes the Jack Merkel 39 was beautiful. A wonderful 7 year restoration done by Ron Norman. It was an honor to be part of the unveiling.

 

So sad that this event has come to an end. I don't think they gave it enough time. The weather was fantastic this year and the turn out was great. It seemed like NHRA didn't even care this year. We got there Wednesday and there was no one to tell you where to park or anything. When we went up to get a goodie bag we asked for one of the metal sign's for this year and they didn't even make any. It was fantastic having a National Hot Rod Reunion this close to home.

 

If by metal sign you mean a dash plaque I got one Saturday, and that's all..It is about 3/4ths the size of the ones that CSRA gives out for their CT Dragway Reunion...Took forever to get through the gate with the car and there seemed to be enough staff walking around, I'm not sure looking back if the "show" followed the advertised event schedule..The cars that ran though were great and appreciate all who brought cars in..

 

We were told Epping is doing some special events for their 50th anniversary in 2016. Not sure what's going on yet, but word is the Reunion might be back in '17.

And I thought it was a well attended event on the race and show sides.

 

They def didnt follow schedule but I'm sure that was partly due to what was available also...

 

That's what I heard. Hopefully back in 2017. Definitely a fun event!

 

I wish I made it out this year, Last year was a great time
