I think everyone who is into old cars loves those pics of old cars and trucks stuck away "out back" Let's see how many cool pics we can come up with. No need to tell where the pic was taken unless you want to include this info. I'll start it off with one of my favorites,a 30 Model A that I found in an 81 year old ladies backyard with lots of junk piled around it. They had stored bags of aluminum cans all around and inside this coupe for years: and all the bags deteriorated so it was a mess gettin this car out of her yard and loaded. This car went to a HAMB member and is now well on it's way to being a very cool 60's style hot rod. .... Let's see what you got.
this is going to be different, i spend so much time looking inside barns, that i always forget to look behind them...
No pictures, it was 1975, I was 11 or 12. Fat Hack will know where it was... there was a '46 Ford Conv. behind the garage at the house across the street (Dugan) from the Sobocinski's... In the middle of a subdivision in Roseville, MI. Kinda left an impression. Might still be there...
The red one I think belongs to a HAMBer now...thanks for the pic Jason. The blue one is haunted....it's in the bushes behind the castle on the hill...
I don't have any pictures but most of the houses in my "village" are from 1930 or earlier. There are quite a few OLD looking barns/garages/buildings around in peoples back yards, I sure would love to go rummaging through some of them. Just last year they built a new entrance onto a highway and when clearing some land dug up an old Railroad truck huge *** rusty thing!
my neighbor took me over to his grandfather's house he had about a dozen '49 to '54 Chevy pickups a dozen '49 to '56 Chevy cars and at least a dozen Model A's only a few cars outside most were inside under years of dust and junk
No pictures, because my digicam is notoriously unreliable and never around when I need it, but in various carriage houses around Whitehall I have found a restored '30/'31 Model A Tudor and an unrestored F-1 pickup. In Mount Pleasant, behind a service station, was an F-2 tow truck with a '52 Cadillac V8 in it. The guy who owned the place had bought the truck for the engine - he restored Cadillacs.
These pics are great. If I could onle find a 32 sitting behind a barn (like everyone else wants to find )
WELL THERE THEN NOW!!!!! WHOAH!!!! That puts those paintings of rusted iron to shame...Any more shots of this yard? WOW....
