Welcome. Show us some pictures of your Husky. I did a 59 Husky with a 302 and am now working on a 392 powered 57 Husky. Let me know if you need anything....I may be able to help with parts or have ideas to save you some time.

Here is what I am starting with
I am also going to use a ford 302
What did you use for the front suspension? These cars have such a narrow track . I would love to hear about any parts you may have for sale especially bumpers door handles and window cranks or any chrome goodies [IMG] [IMG]

Nice start. Working on a 58 myself. Was an ex-drag car.already had a straight axle on a homemade rect tube frame but I installed a 12 point cage, 9" Ford, 427/TH400 hillman 003.jpg hillman 001.jpg

Will try to dig up some pictures. Rect tube from the front of the rear spring perches. Stock rear suspension, no tubs, straight front axle, Vega steering box. New floor from the rear seat forward, naw firewall, Chris Alston Chassisworks 12 point cage.
