top pic, from left....'49/'50 Chevy.....'55 Ford......'57 Ford F-100. bottom pic, from left....'55 Ford.....'54 Olds......2 '57 Fords......'52 Mercury...'54 Plymouth....'50 Buick. EDIT: in the bottom pic, the " '54 Olds " is, in fact, a '56 Chevy. See posts 11 & 13 Ray
The brown Ford is a '55, the next pic down has a pair of '57 fords next to a '54 merc about a '53 Dodge/Plymouth and a '51 Buick.
Top pic is deceiving for dating the picture. The salmon color 55 ford looks as mint as brand new, but the 57-up red/white ford truck has dirty/old looking whitewalls, and the red paint does not look very new.
Keep in mind, this is when trucks were just that, trucks. A tool to be used, repeatedly, even when new. Not the social statement that they morphed into sometime later. I'm sure there were some that were kept shiny. But in that era, that'd be the exception and not the rule IMO. Cool pics btw.
The salmon and white '55 Ford is a Customline, one step up from a Mainline and a step down from the Fairlane trim. The red and white Ford pickup could be anything from '57-'60, cabs and beds the same all of those years, would have to be able to see the grille to tell the exact model year.
While you're discussing the year of the Merc.... The second photo, the second from the left is a '56 Chevy.

I agree with you. When I first viewed the pic on my PC that was my alternative opinion, but I didn't digitally enlarge it, or go get my magnifying glass to clarify. Using only my poor 'ol eyes, I convinced myself I could see those oval shaped ends common to Olds of the era. Just now however, I am using my iPad and it was easy to expand the photo. The grille and side trim are clearly that of a '56 Chevy Ray
