Tony, Chuck is right if Ric is planning on moving to ATL metro, the house he has up for sale before he moves to Ecuador is an ideal one for a hot rodder with that shop and nobody can build behind him.
And prolly less than 20 mi. to Summit.

I think his piston consuming customers are located in the NASCAR area .... he may become an Iron Lord.

  7. I'll more likely be making tune up runs in front of Junior Johnsons place.

Just finished all 59 pages - great build; great writeup. One question/suggestion: in early video of a run from inside - what is your steering ratio? Seems like you really spinning that wheel around and around - even when backing up. Also looks like black tape to mark top of steering wheel - use white. Have fun - get the big one built.

Thanks Mike! That tape was white for about 2 weeks LOL - need new tape. I also need to get the steering checked out on the winter tear down - yesterday was the most work I have had keep the car on the track . First run I took out 2 soft cones and the 330 foot timer . All summer we have been on sticky tracks and maybe I was getting sloppy? The rest of my runs I dialed the knob one click back from 'kill'. Had a great time! Great turnout! Program ran on time and fun was had by all - with a few small exceptions - one crash and one pinion spit onto the starting line.

Huge pat on the back to Quain Dee, Gregg and the track for a great day! Donovan won the season points :) and is the 2015 champ! Big congrats to him! 22 years old - Kim tried to adopt him

It was frosty and cold. 3dnsouth drove 2 hours to get to my house at 5:30am! Everyone wishes they had a crew like that:D Rolling up I-85 ....

Tony, you gotta watch out for those timing cones, LOL. Question: What is that knob you're twisting after run in shutdown, something to do with the Hiborn injectors?
Glad it worked out so well, sure hope you make it to RWYB! I agree with Bobby, thx for the video, but I'd rather hear the engine than music.

Yeah that is my in-car idle adjust. From what I can tell the aluminum heads grow as the temperature goes up and the idle will just climb outta sight! The injection is 2 separated pieces - not like the SBC, so they move away from each other. The threaded rod is connected to the gas pedal and allows the idle to be dialed in.

Here ya go Bobby and DOM - music free! Hhaha - at the end I was trying to read the timing slip to see if he got me or not - it was close!
If I can get this bottom end swapped it will be at Reynolds on 12/5.

Good to meet you Tony. Car is very cool. I have some video I took but I need to load it to Youtube to post it here. I put one on my Facebook page (link below). It was the Semi's. I'll try to get more loaded this week.

Funny thing Dave - the car was going 103 all summer and by the final round it was falling off. Tim even said something sounds off. So - not wasting time - before pulling the heads, I ran a compression test and all were 125 to 140 except #3 and it was 80 o_O that last p*** was 98MPH and it was almost on the rev limiter - maybe it was ....

Good talking to you Rusty - love the Bad Banana! I don't have Facebook but my wife does, let me see if I can get her to give me the p***word again . Never saw that Youtube video of your build before - that was awesome - lot of history there in those old photos.

Yeah Bobby - they were there with both cars. I saw Calamity Jane with parts all over the place so not sure if she made a p*** or not. Justin was running the video cam during the finals though. Should be some good footage coming out.
