it's not done yet but i could not wait any longer. I just stare at it like a peice of art. The carbs are ready but, i'm still trying to decide on what valve covers to run? corvettes or cal customs?

Nice set-up! Are those Rochester 2GC's? I LOVE your "Air Horns"! I've got a set of 2GC's & would like to top em' off like yours are. Right now I've got (Speedway) chrome air cleaners. Love to have that look you've got there! Keep those posts comin'!

    Cals.

    A series of annoying questions:
    Who did your carbs?
What finish is on the body of the carbs? Paint or plating?
Finally, what linkage did you go with?

    Great looking set-up there.

It's not a Corvette, obviously, and I doubt the engine came out of a Corvette, so why the hell use Corvette covers? Get some with "Cherolet" if you think no one will know, or use the finned ones. I like the paint between the ribs -- either contrasting or matching the body paint would be neat.

    A series of annoying questions:
Who did your carbs? chris' carb shop dayton, ohio toll free 1-877-498-2272 yes he will ship in and out
What finish is on the body of the carbs? Paint or plating? bare finish on carb bodys he does offer it
Finally, what linkage did you go with? the linkage is gto for the end carbs, throttle side is basic.

    Everybody's got generic finned covers.

I just finished my tri-power and used Covette early covers--but spent extra money and had em chromed--then painted in between the fins.

I go for the Cal. Customs to, I think the red between the fins really suits the red frame and front!!! :)

  25. Oh screw everyone else-go with the 'Vette covers :D. Usually I'd go with the Cals but I just think the other ones look more vintage on that car. Just my opinion though ;)
